Air Tightness Testing Stoke on Trent – Since 2002 is has become a legal requirement in the building industry to carry out Air Tightness Testing to all new build residential and commercial properties and developments.
This legislation was first introduced to measure the air permeability of a building, varifying standards of workmanship and materials used in order to reduce running costs, excessive draughts and condensation. This is done by carrying out an Air Tightness Test within the finished building envelope which accurately measures the air leakage rate within the building structure.
