NHS Lanarkshire

NoiseAir were approached by NHS Lanarkshire to carry out compliance testing of an audiology room in the Stonehouse clinic. Audiology rooms must conform with stringent parameters of noise insulation and testing is recommended on a regular basis to ensure compliance. The primary concern of the audiologists at NHS Lanarkshire was the noise break in from the adjacent corridor into the audiology suite, which was consequently having a detrimental effect on the quality of hearing tests. NoiseAir carried out a series of sound insulation tests and provided a full technical report detailing the shortfalls and identifying options to rectify the issue.
