Reverberation times within a classroom or teaching areas BB 93 stipulates what reverberation times should be within a classroom area, which range according to the room application. We will visit site and carry out noise testing to establish if you are complying and issue a report with mitigation measures as necessary to conform to the criteria.
Sound insulation to external walls Is required to meet the necessary criteria to protect internal rooms from external noise sources
Music practice rooms and studios should be adequately insulated from adjoining teaching areas and classrooms
Internal and external plant noise For example, from air conditioners – should meet the required noise criteria and should be suitably acoustically treated or enclosed.
