NoiseAir were recently engaged to carry out a sound testing programme at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. The renowned Trinity Laban is a world-leading organisation for dance, music and musical theatre. Given its prestige, it is essential that the school has the first class facilities to match its reputation.
NoiseAir were appointed to carry out an acoustic assessment of the current music practice rooms to establish current acoustic performance and sound insulation, with a view to determining a prescriptive guide to upgrading the facilities.
One of the main concerns of the client was the noise breakout between music practice rooms, which inevitably could cause a disturbance to other students and performers in adjacent rooms.
Our consultants carried out several tests on site and provided Trinity Laban with a detailed acoustic report which included specification for upgrades within the allocated budget.
NoiseAir will continue to work with Trinity Laban throughout the upgrade, to provide acoustic consultancy services as necessary. As part of the service, our consultants will carry out further sound testing on completion of the project, to confirm acoustic performance.
